Invincibility and Nothingness

Traditional Kuchipudi dancer Vaishnavi performs the dance of Durgā, the most powerful of Hindu goddesses.
Japanese contemporary dancer Risa performs an original choreography inspired by the Buddhist Heart Sutra.

Together, they explore two ancient, starkly disparate approaches to overcoming the adversary of negative emotion, via the contrasting yet inextricably linked philosophies of Buddhism and Hinduism.
